The Insurance Council rolls into the IBABC tradeshow

This year’s Insurance Brokers Association of British Columbia (IBABC) tradeshow had a Casino Royale theme and the Insurance Council made a safe bet to return to another successful event.

The annual general insurance industry event is an opportunity for industry professionals to network and connect and allowed for the Insurance Council to interact with licensees and meet with individuals interested in becoming licensed.

Our staff was on hand at the Insurance Council booth fielding licensee questions and providing information on the regulatory work that we’re engaged in that's relevant to licensees and their practice. As a regulator, we support licensees in maintaining professional standards to ensure continued consumer protection.

We encourage licensees to stay up to date with insurance best practices and to reach out to our Practice and Quality Assurance team if they have any inquiries or concerns relating to their business practice.

We look forward to seeing licensees again next year.
